Pittsburgh, like many cities in North America, is gorgeous!

I agree, many of the east coast cities here, still have that touch of history to it, much like you would see in the UK or elsewhere in Europe. On the west coast, this level of preservation is virtually non-existent. If you want to see a beautiful modern and clean city, however, check out Seattle.

Yeah Seattle is certainly one of the aforementioned cities that I opine to be gorgeous.

One of my good friends goes to Carnegie Mellon just down the street from downtown and I have always wanted to visit, it looks like such a pretty city, and this photograph has convinced me that I must go see it sometime soon!

Thank you very much! Pittsburgh has some fun places but downtown is almost no different than New York City in a lot of respects...a lot going on at one time (the outskirts are the better areas).

very beautiful shot, i wish you had aimed up a lil to avoid the tree, but great use of the hdr to get great exposure and the composition is perfect.

Thanks again! yeah, the overlook spot I was using was the angle I wanted but I wanted to keep all of the bridge to the right into it as well...aiming too high would have lost most of the bridge. Perhaps, I could always mask over that with some additional water.

its understandable, perhaps the texture of the water would work well with the patch tool
